We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Network Change Management to join our Technology Service Centre team. This role is in Pittsburgh/PA. Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Reduce risk and outages to the company.
- Ensuring that all changes are recorded, categorised, prioritised, assessed, authorised, scheduled, implemented, tested, and closed according to the Change Management Process.
- Ensuring that all changes are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives, business requirements, and technology standards.
- Ensuring that all changes are compliant with the organisation's policies, regulations, and security requirements.
- Ensuring that all changes are documented and communicated to the relevant stakeholders, and that the impact and benefits of changes are clearly understood and agreed upon.
- Ensuring that all changes are reviewed and evaluated for their effectiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, and that any issues, incidents, or problems arising from changes are resolved and escalated as appropriate.
- Ensuring that all changes are audited and verified for their accuracy, completeness, and quality, and that any deviations, exceptions, or non-compliances are reported and addressed.
- Ensuring that all changes are supported by adequate resources, tools, and contingency plans, and that any risks, dependencies, or conflicts are identified and managed.
- Ensuring that all changes are subject to continuous improvement and feedback, and that any lessons learned, best practices, or recommendations are captured and shared.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Strong background in multiple technology disciplines, including, but not limited to, network, compute, and database systems.
- Working knowledge of service management processes, with a focus on change management.
- Advanced skills in Office software suite - Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Highly organized and expertly leads meetings; capable of coordinating efforts and developing partnerships across teams.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in cloud computing, DevOps, and agile principles and practices.
- Aware of the latest technology trends and innovations.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
