Position Summary

The Global Process Engineer is a key role responsible for assessing and optimizing current state processes, identifying standardization potential and maximizing benefits across stakeholder groups. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, data-driven strategy implementation knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Global Process Engineer plays a crucial role in designing and refining processes, facilitating implementation including innovative solutions, and ensuring continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
    Conduct thorough analyses of current state processes. Design and refine processes, optimizing for efficiency and applicability across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate the implementation of optimized processes to the impacted stakeholders, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational performance and drive efficiency in global processes.
  • Anticipate market changes and contribute to the development of forward-thinking strategies.
  • Act as a liaison and trusted advisor between all levels of management, taking on daily responsibilities such as team management, meeting preparation, needs analysis, solution design, process improvement and leadership for process optimization, acquisition integrations, transformation enablement or other assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different regions and departments to gather insights and ensure alignment with enterprise risk management, regulatory, compliance, financial and information technology general controls as well as other global process optimization goals.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to facilitate process and system design, refining workflows and applications to meet the needs of diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Develop and maintain process, system, data, and control documentation, ensuring clear and standardized procedures are accessible to all relevant parties.
  • Implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition during process, data, control, and system improvements addressing potential resistance and fostering stakeholder engagement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the effectiveness of optimized processes and controls.
  • Continuously evaluate industry best practices and emerging technologies to inform process improvement strategies.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects, providing expertise on global process optimization and contributing to overall organizational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to align technology solutions with optimized business processes and controls, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adherence to optimized processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a global process improvement roadmap, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Utilize financial models that incorporate all relevant metrics and business drivers to assist in developing priorities across the company. Develop return on investment analysis as required.
  • Lead or participate in process audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with process changes, ensuring a proactive and adaptive approach to problem-solving.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and tools related to global process engineering.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 6 or more years Process Engineering experience
  • 2 or more years in project or operating model facilitation
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing, designing, and implementing global processes for efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in implementing data-driven strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Experience in matrix management and strong leadership skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Strong leadership and matrix management skills to drive successful process optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to anticipate market changes and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions for complicated issues in new or complex situations.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with competing deadlines to meet organizational goals.
  • Ability to develop solutions to complicated issues using abstract thinking in new or complex situations.
  • Ability to develop return on investment analysis.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Knowledge of HR and Finance processes a plus
  • Previous transformation/operational excellence experience a plus.
