KPIX is looking for a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced television news environment.
- Be detail-oriented and deadline-driven with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with Grass Valley Edius editing system is preferred.
- Juggle multiple projects as a creative and poised team player.
- Be flexible with work schedule, willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.
- ENG will also be part of regular duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-5 years' experience in a television news environment.
- Links to demo reel demonstrating abilities required.
