The Role: Territory Sales Lead

To continue driving the growth of our business, we are seeking a highly-driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging current and prospective clients, presenting the value of our products and services, and driving opportunities through the sales cycle. This is a consultative sales position focused on understanding client needs, presenting solutions, securing new business, and building on existing client relationships in a market and environment that will provide an ongoing abundance of opportunities to directly drive business growth.

What The Role Entails:

  • You will be provided with qualified leads on a daily basis. In a given day you will reach out to 30+ prospective clients (via phone, email, etc.) to build and grow your book of business. Our Business Development Team will schedule client meetings on your behalf while you simultaneously work to prospect new opportunities.
  • You will meet with 2-3 clients (virtually and in-person) each week to maintain current client relationships and to prospect, present solutions and proposals, and close opportunities.
  • You will work in collaboration with Operations teams to ensure newly landed clients and accounts are set-up for success and their business retained.
  • You will travel regularly within your territory to meet local clients. You occasionally (roughly once a month) travel on overnight/multiday trips to meet clients and/or represent Ethos at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events.
  • You will update your CRM account (Salesforce) daily to track all relevant sales activities/client contacts, meetings, and progress towards targets.

  • You will stand-out among other applicants if:
    • You served in the military, engaged in competitive pursuits (collegiate sports, etc.), have entrepreneurial experience OR
    • You have knowledge of insurance claims processes (specifically Workers Comp, Disability, Auto, and/or Liability), experience with private investigations or medical claims processing (Bill Review, Utilization Review, Nurse Case Management, IMEs), or professional experience working with claims adjustors or risk managers.
