Experienced and highly motivated Maternal Fetal Medicine Proceduralist to join our growing team. Quaternary care regional referral center with over 13,000 deliveries annually. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in MFM and have advanced training in fetal diagnosis, intervention, and surgery.
Collaborate with a highly specialized team to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care in an academic environment, and serve as Co-Director of the Fetal Care Center, partnering with the Division Chief and Director on the development of programmatic growth and strategic planning initiatives. Participation in clinical research will be strongly encouraged. Emphasis is placed on a multidisciplinary approach with our exemplary team of subspecialists, especially in relation to our maternal and fetal navigation programs.
Responsibilities consist of inpatient and outpatient management of maternal and fetal conditions, ex utero intrapartum therapy (EXIT) deliveries, and ultrasound guided procedures such as percutaneous umbilical cord blood sampling, amniotic band resection, fetal shunt placement, and laser therapy for twin-twin transfusion syndrome. Experience with open fetal procedures is beneficial, but not required.
We collaborate with the High-Risk Obstetric Hospitalists in building a Placental Accreta Center of Excellence, and the Pediatric Surgery Departmentin the development of a Fetal Care Center.
