Sr. AV Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior AV Technician to manage the installation and troubleshooting of AV systems at multiple locations. This role involves significant customer interaction and requires travel to various sites in Jackson, MS OR Hartford, CT to set up AV equipment and rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site assessments to determine client requirements
• Set up and commission AV equipment
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams
• Complete and submit detailed installation and documentation reports
• Provide regular updates to Project Managers and the Design team
• Mentor and train junior Field Specialists
• Handle additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, and Shure systems
• Certifications such as Avixa CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D

Job Details:

• Type : Permanent
• Location : Remote, with on-site presence at client locations 90% of the time
• Travel : 25% out-of-state travel, with all expenses reimbursed and a company car provided
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST, with frequent overtime and occasional weekend work. Schedules are set two months in advance.
