Oracle EBS/RDBMS Manager

We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS and RDBMS Manager to lead and manage a small team. Candidate must have strong experience with data migration to Oracle Cloud (OCI) and/or Azure (ideally both) and strong Oracle EBS skills.

Oracle EBS Skills:

• Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) Application DBA experience (Maintenance, ongoing care & feed and Configuration expertise).
• Understanding of cross platform migration of Oracle EBS data bases & application from On-Prem to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Core Oracle Skills:

• Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
• Oracle PL/SQL, as well as ANSI SQL
• Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Oracle Data Guard
• Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Oracle Database Performance Tuning
• Oracle Backup and Recovery (RMAN)
• Oracle Autonomous Database – configuration and management
• Oracle DBCS – and/or Azure cloud managed instances

General RDBMS Skills:

• SQL Programming
• Database Design and Modeling
• Database Security and Auditing
• Database Backup and Recovery
• Query Optimization
• Stored Procedures and Triggers
• Database Replication
• Data Warehousing
• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Processes

• Linux/Unix Administration
• Shell Scripting
• Programming Languages (Python, PL/SQL, SQL, etc.)
• Cloud Database Services (Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Azure)
• Database Migration Experience from Oracle to either modern cloud databases and/or Open databases like PostgreSQL
• DatabaseOps experience using tools like liquibase is a plus.
• Leveraging AI to automate day 2 day DB operations is a plus.
