As a Senior Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst for Global Sales Reporting (GSR) within the Reporting, Analytics & Insights COE in Global Finance at Medtronic, you’ll have an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the world’s largest medical device company. You’ll leverage advanced data analysis, reporting, and insights to support global sales force. You will collect, analyze, and present key performance indicators, enabling strategic decision-making and uncovering opportunities for process optimization. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, sales operations, and a strong familiarity with Sales force.
As a Senior Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality, insightful reports and dashboards. Your work will empower leadership and teams across various functions with actionable data insights to drive performance and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Develop Reports and Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards in Power BI based on business needs.
Data Modeling: Build and optimize data models in Power BI to support scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business analysts, data engineers, and business users to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet business objectives.
Data Transformation: Leverage Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets
Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune Power BI reports and datasets for performance, ensuring that all solutions are efficient and scalable.
Data Security: Implement data security measures, including row-level security, to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Documentation and Training: Provide clear documentation of reports, dashboards, and underlying data models. Offer training and support to users for effective adoption of Power BI solutions.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of experience in business/data analysis (2+ with an advanced degree)
NICE TO HAVE
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI; familiarity with Python/R, Snowflake is a plus
Expertise in analyzing complex data sets, developing actionable recommendations, including SAP data validation
Experience managing large-scale projects and presenting insights to senior leadership
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
Familiarity with Salesforce, in addition to experience in health sciences or regulated industries

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$91,200.00 - $136,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
