Job Title: Business Development Manager Life Sciences Clinical Platforms, NA
Location: New Jersey, USA
Job Overview
Primary responsibility will be to sell Life Sciences Clinical Platforms subscriptions to large and mid-sized pharma and medical devices companies. This platform caters to end to end needs of clinical trials including clinical data management, patient's connectivity, safety, complaint management and regulatory. The platform can be subscribed in BPaaS or SaaS model. The key performance indicator of this person would be number of customers on-boarded and order book value.
Responsibilities and Duties:
•Business development in NA including creating sales lead and executing end to end sales cycle
•Responding to RFI, RFPs and RFQs floated by customers / prospects
•Capability Discussions/Meetings/Presentation to customers and prospects
•Building a strong pipeline
•Working with key Client Eco-System (Services, IT, Legal, Finance, Delivery, etc.) stakeholders for successful business development
•Meeting quarter on quarter OBV targets
Qualification and Experience:
•MBA - Sales and Marketing (Preferable) or Pharma degree
•Total experience of 10-15 years in Life Sciences R&D Space - predominantly in sales
•Experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing for Life Sciences R&D Products/Platforms with good track record
•Excellent knowledge of Pharma domain
•Sales experience in Life Sciences R&D Product Companies
