- Hire and Lead a world-class SE team focused on delivering a unique, differentiated customer experience to new prospects and existing customers.
- Partner with the Sales and SE teams to significantly grow the business.
- Build development plans for team members to ensure successful onboarding, core and continuing education of the team.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Balance the workload of the SE Team in concert with input from the Account Executives and Regional Sales Leaders.
- Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to SEs, and in turn to prospects and customers.
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
- Support and participate with the SEs in performing detailed discovery and advanced technical presentations for customers, and prospects, remotely and in-person.
- Develop and maintain expert understanding of all RingCentral applications and products.
- Represent RingCentral at conferences, industry, and sales events.
- Actively participate as a Product Interlock owner for RingCentral products and technologies and provide consultative support through leadership of your SEs.
- Identify areas for opportunity, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights to drive growth.
- Work with cross functional teams to optimize lead, pipeline and sales flow and enable deal delivery of RingSense.
- Participate in the development and execution of the annual operating plan.
- In charge of all technical escalations for your market segment.
- Be the champion for sales in cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Play a key role in go-to-market planning and execution.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
- 7+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales/Solutions Engineer in a UCaaS/CCaaS environment, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Existing experience with NICE inContact solutions is a plus.
- Existing experience with Workforce Engagement Management (WEM), Workforce Optimization (WFO), and Workforce Management (SFM) is a plus.
- 5+ years of management experience in similar industries.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership to the account team and engineers.
- Ability to teach other members of the team and effectively manage a team of highly skilled SEs.
- Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.
- Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned region.
- Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization: Messaging, Video, Phone, and Mobile Communications.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
- Knowledge of VoIP and data networking protocols.
- Experience with Direct and Channel selling motions.
- Understanding of customer communications requirements for enterprise business markets.
- Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.
- Demonstrates the ability to excel at understanding and communicating complex technical solutions and issues to prospects, customers, channel partners, and internal RingCentral Teammates.
- Some experience with project management and resource tracking is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to implement, drive and track projects.
- Ability to review, analyze, and create strategies and action plans from reports and analytics tools is required. Experience using PowerBI and Salesforce.com is mandatory.

- Strong operational background, directly leading day-to-day business operations, and comfortable “owning” a sales target, and all that that ownership comes with.
- Strong organizational development, communication and leadership skills.
- Familiar with a variety of routes to market (inside, field, channel and strategic alliance) and segments in multiple geographies (North America, EMEA, APJ).
- Flexibility, with the ability to adjust as needed, with a sense of urgency and a passion for new ideas.

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between 174,000 - 324,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
