The opportunity

As a strategic partner, the Pharmaceutical HR Business Partner aligns business objectives with employees and management within designated commercial business units. This multifaceted role combines organizational change management with employee support. As a Pharmaceutical HR Business Partner, you’ll be a change agent, a strategic thinker, and a people champion.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Organizational Change Management:
    • Lead and facilitate organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
    • Communicate change initiatives to employees at all levels, addressing concerns and providing clarity.
  • Employee Support:
    • Consult with line management on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
    • Analyze trends and metrics to resolve complex employee relations issues.
    • Improve work relationships and enhance productivity through effective HR practices.
    • Provide timely information and education to employees across the organization on HR-related topics.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    • Align HR practices with business goals, ensuring that HR initiatives contribute to overall organizational success.
    • Advocate for employees while balancing business needs and legal compliance.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR management or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of Human Resources generalist experience (may be inclusive of COE experience) in a business facing HR Role with demonstrated increasing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success in operating within a complex, matrix global structure.
  • Global and cross-functional experience is preferred.
