Duties:
- Manage all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement negotiations, mediations, and appeals
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
- Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal analysis of complex issues
- Negotiate settlements in favor of clients, leveraging strong litigation strategies
- Prepare and present lay and expert witnesses for trial testimony
- Develop and implement effective case strategies to secure favorable outcomes for clients
- Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and advocating on their behalf
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed and admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
- Strong litigation skills, including trial and negotiation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a legal team
Education:
