The Associate District Manager is accountable for achievement of the district sales and expense budget through the recruitment, hiring, training, motivation, and direction of account managers.

What You Will Do:
Responsibility for managing 4-6 account managers serving dairy farm distributors and dairy farm customers in the Southwestern U.S.
Identify/prioritize new business prospects.
Design/implement a plan that ensures account managers are prospecting with a plan and at a level designed to meet territory and district growth objectives.
Provide the leadership/drive for the successful introduction of new value-added products/programs and the accountability to ensure budgeted goals are met.
Organize and help deliver the required resources to aid account managers in accomplishing their service and sales growth objectives.
Develop and recommend an annual sales and operating budget.
Operate the region within policies and procedures established by the Ecolab Animal Health Division
Run vacant territories until an Account Manager is hired and trained.
Work with the field in troubleshooting, start-ups, and installations.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting distributor sales efforts.
Working directly with large dairy farms in the sales, service, and promotion of existing and new value-added products to large dairy farms within an assigned territory.
Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment, and services.
Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, milk quality and operations. Conduct customer employee training in these fields.
Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with all levels of customer staff; build strong business relationships and networks.
Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe, and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory, and place orders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (2 years of industry or Ecolab experience = 1 year of post-secondary education)
3 years of field sales experience
2 years of experience in food, beverage, or agricultural industries
Functional computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize multiple projects with strong follow-through and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach, motivate and supervise district personnel to full potential.
Willingness and ability to work off hours.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
Base salary range is $95,000 – $142,500. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms.Anticipated Job Posting End Date:
11/10/2024Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range.
