Salary Range: $135,000 to $180,000
Requirements:
- Data Architect must demonstrate experience developing with Salesforce analytical solutions.
- Data Architect must demonstrate experience developing analytical reports in Salesforce, Tableau, and other analytical/visualization solutions.
- Data Architect must have experience in designing, implementing, and integrating Salesforce with federal systems (on-premise, cloud); demonstrates experience delivering Salesforce solutions that comply with all federal standards such as security, section 508.
- Data Architect must have a master’s degree with five (5) plus years (with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce) of hands-on full stack experience as team lead supporting architects, leading teams, and developing solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies preferably in federal space.
- Must have a combination of Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Architect, and Salesforce Consultant certifications and/or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Must have Agile/SAFe, and other related developer certifications and/or demonstrate equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of enterprise-level data architecture solutions, encompassing data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration strategies. Ensure that data architecture aligns with business objectives and supports scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Database Management and Optimization: Oversee database management activities, including schema design, data storage, indexing, and optimization. Implement best practices for data warehousing, data lakes, and data marts to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. Establish data quality metrics and monitoring mechanisms to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools in the data management space, such as cloud-based data platforms, NoSQL databases, and big data processing frameworks. Make recommendations for technology adoption based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and IT infrastructure teams to align data architecture initiatives with business goals and technical capabilities. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of data systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Implement tuning strategies, data partitioning, and caching mechanisms to enhance data processing speed and efficiency. Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to support future growth and scalability.
The Location: This position can be done remotely! Additionally, we have an office at Reston Town Center, 11900 Market St, Reston, VA 20190, that employees can use.
