As aTax Manager, you value working closely with others to plan for the future and to help successful medical practice clients and their owners coordinate tax strategies, avoid surprises and achieve success.Responsibilities:Manage tax advisory services and providing thoughtful tax compliance to medical practice clients in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectationsAssist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffPlan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resourcesParticipate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projectsHelping to develop, build and manage client relationshipsCommunicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and other significant matters in a timely mannerDevelop deep industry knowledge within the healthcare industryParticipate in the proposal process for prospective clients and serve as the main tax point of contact within our firm for clientsQualifications:5 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and client relationship managementBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCPA licenseExperience managing multiple client engagements with ability and passion for developing and fostering deep relationships with key clientsA strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive client serviceExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skillsStrong written and oral communicationProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Caseware, depreciation processing software, Tax preparation software (Axcess), Tax research software (RIA), and Go File Room is strongly desiredAmanda Feltner, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
