Join a growing team as a Senior Manager/Associate Director of Strategic Procurement. Our client is open to strategic sourcing professionals with either a direct or indirect procurement background. This role will focus on all indirect spend; but, the focus will be to drive strategic initiatives that boasts both internal stakeholder deliverables and external vendor management.

Description

Work with internal stakeholders to understand and assess business needs

Own and manage strategic sourcing initiatives across all indirect categories (Marketing, HR, Facilities, Office Supplies, IT Hardware, Technology, etc.)

Manage successful contract negotiations and vendor on boarding through RFQ + RFP modeling

Successfully support the Senior Director of Procurement and mentor a team of Analysts (growth opportunity to move into a leadership role)

Work cross-functionally with Logistics team to manage vendor contracts per rising and falling inventory levels, leverage internal distribution channels, etc.

Data-driven strategic decision making skills, drive constant evolution of best in class SOP's across both department and organization

Profile

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

5-7 Years of Experience in the Procurement & Supply Chain field

Analytical Skills - RFQ and RFP experience

Advanced Systems - Excel, ERP, Project Management Software's

CIPS, CPSM, or PMP Certification a Plus

Keen understanding of inventory management, distribution and fulfillment a plus

Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Base Salary starting around $120K (flexible based on candidate credentials)

HYBRID working capacity - 3 days/week on site in Downtown Manhattan & 2 days fully remote
