Purpose of Position

As an Account Executive, you will act as the main point of contact for internally allocated accounts through the use of a Salesforce ticketing system, providing affiliate recommendations and guidance to small and mid-sized clients, as needed. As an active member of the team, you will focus on being responsive, enthusiastic, and friendly in your advertiser dealings while identifying areas of improvement and growth throughout the client affiliate journey.

Key Tasks

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients via a Salesforce Ticketing Queue, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support in line with each client’s agreed service level.
  2. Advise on program strategy recommendations designed to produce a successful affiliate program, meeting a client’s objectives and goals.
  3. Work independently to produce all necessary account deliverables in line with a customer’s service level and ensure team tasks are completed in a timely manner by utilizing Asana.
  4. Support clients with recruitment efforts, recommending new as well as existing partner opportunities and provide publisher outreach & introductions, as needed.
  5. Familiarize yourself with industry trends and become an expert on Awin tools, reports & products, while keeping clients informed of relevant information and functionality.
  6. Regularly leverage & utilize the Awin platform and third-party tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, SimilarWeb, etc.) in support of account deliverables for clients and in support of wider network activities.
  7. Monitor affiliate program performance including key KPIs to ensure network compliance and program health.
  8. Take a proactive approach in solving issues with clients, escalating issues to the appropriate team level when necessary.
  9. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, publishers and vendors via email, phone and face-to-face meetings.
  10. Demonstrate strong and timely communication skills by efficiently engaging with all internal teams and colleagues across all utilized platforms, email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
  11. Provide support to all team members when necessary and be a reference point of knowledge and expertise for more junior members of the team.
  12. Proactively suggest process efficiencies and tactics in order to best support our clients and their affiliate goals on Awin.

Skills & Expertise

  1. Minimum 1+ years’ account management experience in an affiliate marketing or related role.
  2. Knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry, including commission models, tracking solutions, and various affiliate types.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Fast learner with strong team orientation and a positive, can-do attitude.
  6. Accepts and seeks out ownership and accountability of work.
  7. Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and willingness to learn new technology systems.
