Job description
The Catering Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the catering department's day-to-day operations. The position is a blend of customer service, administrative tasks, and coordination with the onsite catering team.
Reports to: Catering Director
Job duties include:
- Customer communication and coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for catering inquiries via email and telephone.
- Working with software
- Administrative Tasks
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Prior experience in the catering/events industry or restaurant industry.
- Previous office administration experience.
- High school diploma required, associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work weekends when needed- specifically during holidays
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Computer: Word, Excel, Outlook, Caterease (catering software)
