Deliver products to company customers in western and mid-western states, with an average of 2500 plus miles per weekMaintain new tractors and equipment with good communication with our truck shop maintenance teams at each location.Maintain transportation records, monitor safety measures, and maintain low (CSA) BASIC scoresCargo Securement: Ensure the safety of the load, loading and unloading of equipment, and properly securing, strapping and tarping of the loadPerform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection of tractor and flatbed trailerFollow company and DOT standards and requirements for driving trucks requiring Class "A" CDL driver's licenseCommunicate and interact in a professional and friendly manner with other Hutchison employees, distributors and customers.Knowledge of Hutchison products: gates, stock tanks, fencing, lumber, etc. • Perform other essential load and dispatch duties as assigned RequirmentsAt least 21 years of ageValid Class "A" commercial motor vehicle operator's licensePrefer at least two (2) years of recent verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer on an over-theroad basis or by reason and experience, training, or both, safely operate the type of commercial vehicle he/she will drive.You must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquires, and to make entries on reports and records.Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations: Physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with DOT Physical Qualification and Examinations.
