Marshall Health Network Foundation is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst.
Ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the multiple nonprofit fundraising organizations and fundraising projects of Marshall Health Network. This role will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements. The Foundations Financial Analyst will work closely with the Vice President of Corporate, Foundation and Donor Philanthropy, a representative from Marshall Health Network Finance Department and the various nonprofit Board of Directors to develop and implement financial strategies that support Marshall Health Network's mission and goals. The Foundation Financial Analyst will have direct responsibility for all accounting related to many organizations/projects such as CHH, SMMC, and Rivers Health Foundation, Scholarship Foundations, Gift Shop, Auxiliaries, and other project.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support all Foundations and philanthropic entities.
  • Manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial systems.
Reports to: Vice President of Corporate, Foundation and Donor Philanthropy
Supervises: Volunteer and Contract Data Entry

Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience:
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
  • Proven history of successful financial management, including experience developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
