We're looking for our first in-house hire to help us build our people function from the ground up. This position offers the unique opportunity to establish core recruiting processes, develop strategic hiring plans, and directly influence our company's growth trajectory.

This is a remote position, based anywhere in the United States.

What You Will Work On

People processes, including but not limited to sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding
  • Assist in designing and tracking key performance indicators, transforming complex data sets into actionable business insights to inform strategic decision-making for hiring and sourcing alongside the Director of People & Culture.
  • Develop and maintain key network relationships to help grow a pipeline for engineering & technical sales teams.
  • Provide general support to hiring managers as needed.
  • Collaborate in the development of compensation philosophy, retention philosophy, job leveling, retooling of job descriptions, annual reviews, onboarding programming, and other people-related processes.
  • Collaboratively create vision and strategy around sourcing, interviewing, diversity/equity in hiring, and hiring strategy for people operations, including key high-level company hires in addition to building out the recruiting team long term.
  • Be willing to step outside of your space as needed to support a rapidly growing company.

Who you are

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Organizational Psychology, Economics, Business, Communications or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in full life cycle recruiting with a demonstrated track record for filling roles with long-term staying power.
  • Experience at a startup, agency and/or big tech company, combination preferred.
  • Experience in C-Suite level recruiting &/or experience working with an agency for search of high-level titles.
  • Exceptional written and organizational skills.
  • Ability to track multiple jobs and operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Low/No ego approach to teamwork and willingness to step in where needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify top candidates in the verticals of engineering and technical sales.
  • You have an owner mentality and are excited to build from 0 to 1.
