DescriptionWe are looking for a talented, strategic-minded and hands-on, customer-obsessed Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a passion for developing and implementing HR strategies in Amazon Web Services (AWS).If you thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment, this role is for you! The Principal HRBP must be able to work independently, establish and execute long and short term human capital strategies while taking a hands-on approach, and interface effectively with professionals at all levels. You'll need strong analytic skills and the ability to translate your clients’ business plans and goals into the human resource capabilities needed to achieve results.Key job responsibilitiesServe as primary HR leader for a subset of VPs/Director(s) in WW Marketing.Partner with business leaders to develop their talent strategy to support the business growth while maintaining an engaging, respectful and fun work environmentDrive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management and skills assessment and developmentCoach business partners in career development, leadership and management practicesAssist in the development and implementation of people plans and solutions in order to achieve people initiatives and deliver results and a work environment where all employees can thrive and growReview and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvementsPartner with the business to lead routine talent reviews, focused on succession planning, employee growth and development and organizational health prioritiesProvide compensation guidance to leaders for all salary actions including the annual salary review, promotions and job re-leveling situationsPartner with the central HR Partner (HR BeXT) organization to work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interestsPartner with the AWS talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talentLead or contribute to various cross-team and/or cross-organizational HR projectsAbout the teamDiverse ExperiencesAmazon values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
