Position Summary

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of Regional Account Managers who are responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within the NPS product portfolio. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Nuclear Sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides leadership and line management to Regional Account Managers and experienced professional staff.
  2. Leads and is accountable to specific field sales territory management objectives.
  3. Develops specific sales and financial objectives for assigned region, teams and individuals.
  4. Manages and is accountable for an annual organizational budget.
  5. Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals.
  6. Assists in the development and implementation of functional strategy.
  7. Interacts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior management.
  8. Develops high quality, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  9. Performs other job-related duties as requested to ensure sales goals and objectives are met.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. People leadership experience required with 5 – 7 years of healthcare and/or clinical diagnostic sales management experience preferred.
  3. Strong preference for experience selling and leading teams in clinical, diagnostic, imaging or lab products and/or services.
  4. Proven leadership success with a focus on coaching and development.
  5. Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills are required.
  6. Ability to travel up to 60%.
  7. Candidate must live in the designated geography.

Anticipated salary range: $185,700 - $248,580 (Includes targeted variable pay)
