Make an Impact

Under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel, as the VP – Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support to Bridge Senior Living’s independent, assisted living, and memory care communities in all areas of daily operations, including regulatory compliance and claims/litigation management.


Responsibilities Include

  1. Provide clear, compelling, and comprehensive legal counsel and support for Bridge Senior Living and its community operations.
  2. Advise executives and operational teams on a wide variety of legal matters.
  3. Manage litigation and administrative proceedings, including assisted living licensure-related matters.
  4. Provide training to community teams on a variety of legal issues.
  5. Manage work of outside counsel and associated costs.
  6. Other duties as needed and/or assigned.

What You Should Bring

A strong litigation and/or healthcare law foundation is essential. Your experience in these areas and ability to analyze legal scenarios affecting Bridge Senior Living’s community operations will be used consistently. You need to be comfortable and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. As our senior living operations counsel, you need excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with executives and operational teams and to negotiate with opposing parties as well as strong dispute resolution acumen.

  1. Juris Doctor degree.
  2. Five or more years experience in an established law firm or in-house practice with well-rounded litigation and/or healthcare practice.
  3. Must be a member of the Florida Bar or eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel.
  4. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Meaningful healthcare or regulatory experience is preferred.
  6. Outstanding academic record.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written.
  9. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  10. Must juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment and work under tight timelines.
