Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 Annual Salary

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis to manage the full recruitment workflow and advise our business for our corporate level hiring. You'll excel in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates, focusing on high-maintenance relationships and using data and technology to drive decisions. As an expert in applicant tracking systems and recruitment processes, you’ll mentor the talent acquisition team and support hiring for roles from Assistant to Director level at our corporate HQ. Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment: Collaborate regularly with department leaders and proactively identify future hiring needs for a given area. Attract and select candidates for entry-level to high-level jobs. Bring candidates along for the full candidate journey all the way to closing. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.” Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  2. Vacancy Profiling: Create recruitment profiles for entry level to senior executive roles; engage with hiring executives to clarify the scope of each role, develop a role profile, and create a candidate specification; create an executive search brief to attract high-quality candidates.
  3. Candidate Pipeline: Develop and maintain an entry level to senior executive candidate pipeline through personal networking, proactive sourcing, research, and a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods, processes, and tools. Actively source candidates for all requisitions to supplement inbound applications.
  4. Employee Assessment: Lead standardization activities to ensure that workplace assessments of individuals’ competence and performance meet internal quality standards and, where relevant, national standards.
  5. Screen Candidate Applications: Carry out online research and interviews and review career histories to validate applications for assistant to senior management and executive roles and to screen out those that do not meet key criteria.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  7. Recruitment Campaigns: Create recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates; research the characteristics of key candidate target groups; develop messaging that is relevant and attractive to candidates and consistent with the employer brand and value proposition; identify relevant cost-efficient media, social media, or other channels.
  8. Assessment Design: Create assessment in line with an established specification; identify, tailor, and validate preexisting assessment methods, processes, and tools; develop and validate new content where appropriate; ensure quality assurance in documentation; train assessors to engage candidates, record and interpret assessment observations, and provide appropriate feedback to line management.
  9. Candidate Relationship Management / Pipeline Management: Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex existing pipelines to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues. Manage ongoing relationships with identified segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for changes based on hiring manager input.
  10. Future Talent Recruitment: Create multichannel future talent recruitment campaigns to attract large numbers of high-quality candidates; develop messaging that is tuned to values and aspirations of graduates/school leavers and is consistent with the employer brand and value proposition; identify relevant career fairs and cost-efficient media, social media, or other channels.
  11. Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
  12. Personal Capability Building: Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
  2. Over 6 years of full life cycle recruiting or a combination of sourcing and recruiting experience required
  3. Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others
  4. Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues is preferred
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Highly motivated and able to adapt to change
  7. Positive and Professional Attitude
