Responsibilities
The NiFi project team requires a Systems Administrator who will have the opportunity to provide:
- Linux systems deployment
- Systems patching and upgrades
- Software installation and configuration
- IAVA patching and documentation creation and maintenance.
- Monitoring and initial troubleshooting of Linux based systems.
- Creating POA&M's as necessary
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of Linux Systems Administration experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance.
- DOD 8570 Required
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- IAVAs STE/STN and system patching
- Experience with Elastic Search functionality
- Knowledge of Network Protocols
- Experienced providing customer support
- Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Linux desktop systems, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)
- Ability to write Shell and SALT scripts.
- Write and maintain system technical documentation.
- A self-starter who can work closely with the team, but require little oversight in completing required SA tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS basic knowledge
- Dataflow understanding
- Experience / familiarity with NiFi
- Security +

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
