About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Director of Sales and Events to oversee the sales and events operations of our company in the designated area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring the successful execution of events. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and events management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in the hospitality or events industry
  • Experience managing sales teams across multiple locations
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success
  • Oversee the successful execution of events, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the market and industry trends to inform sales and event strategies

Skills:

The successful candidate will utilize their strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage a team of sales professionals and ensure the successful execution of events. They will also leverage their experience in sales and events management to develop and implement effective sales strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Additionally, proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools will be beneficial in this role.
