We are looking for a strong Financial Analyst who can work with the Corporate Planning and Analysis group to anticipate internal and external risks and opportunities for the $6 billion enterprise through a sophisticated data-driven approach. The Corporate Planning / FP&A group advises senior leadership on a range of topics including financial performance, strategic opportunities and market trends. This analyst will help provide timely analysis around identifying opportunities in the market and play a critical role in the planning processes for the entire company and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact with regional business units to forecast financial results, identify risks and assist with medium- and long-term business planning.
- Produce monthly P&L and sales forecasts for regional business units, explaining key variances and drivers.
- Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning processes.
- Use enterprise tools (such as SAP and Excel) to research and identify variances, key drivers, and understand company spend.
- Conduct market research to enhance business decisions.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement, always looking for opportunities to streamline and eliminate redundancies.
- Perform regular reporting and reporting systems to create automated reliable information.
- Support special projects as requested.
- Play a critical role as part of the company’s “go-to” data and analytical resource.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong technical abilities, i.e. Excel, databases (SQL, other programming understanding a plus), SAP, Power BI and other analytical tools a plus.
- Up to 2 years of business, financial or strategic analysis experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – comfortable executive presence.
- Self-motivated, curious individual, with high personal responsibility and integrity.
- Collaborative, team-oriented individual willing to assist wherever needed to ensure the group provides accurate and timely financial information.
