Job Requirements / Description

We're seeking a passionate and self-driven Electronics IOT Test Senior Technician to join our team in Bethel, CT. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a vital role in testing and optimizing Duracell's next-generation wireless monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis and Automation: Develop software using Python to automate data processing and analysis, enabling deeper insights into large datasets from ongoing tests or field data.
  2. Feature Enhancement: Identify opportunities for feature enhancements by conducting in-depth data analysis and leveraging Python to streamline processes and increase productivity.
  3. InSite Module Qualification: Conduct electrical and mechanical testing of InSite Modules, including DCPA testing, cable and device cavity evaluation, and environmental testing.
  4. Battery Modeling Support: Create simulation protocols and neural network models using device-specific voltage data to improve the development and testing process.
  5. Compatibility Testing: Assist in evaluating devices for compatibility with InSite SKUs, including mechanical teardown, retrofitting, RSSI testing, and device load profiling.
  6. General Lab Support: Contribute to various lab activities, such as InSite demo support, test rack maintenance, and assembly.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. ASEE degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 1-5 years of experience in electronics testing or programming.
  2. Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Visual Basic, LabVIEW, or other relevant software languages.
  3. Strong understanding of digital and analog measuring equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DVMs).
  4. Proven ability to develop software programs to streamline work processes.
  5. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  7. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
