QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:

• Master's Degree in counseling or related field
• Valid Texas Teaching
• Counseling and Guidance Certification
• Minimum 2 years successful teaching and/or counseling experience with school-age students

PREFERRED:

• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to successfully accomplish the duties of the job
• Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Demonstrate computer literacy
