About The Role
We are seeking a talented, personable, and experienced Bartender to join our team at Marea in Beverly Hills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a deep knowledge of fine wines, spirits, and cocktails, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating handcrafted beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring seamless service in a high-end dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails, as well as classic and modern beverages, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation.
- Provide a welcoming, memorable experience for guests by interacting with them in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations, and answering any questions about the menu.
- Display a deep understanding of wines, spirits, and liqueurs, particularly those that complement coastal Italian cuisine. Assist guests in selecting the perfect beverage pairing.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and clean at all times. This includes replenishing supplies, prepping garnishes, and maintaining equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service and handling.
- Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver seamless service and elevate the guest experience.
- Assist with tracking and managing bar inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of beverages.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in a fine dining, high-end restaurant, or luxury hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of craft cocktails, wines, spirits, and cocktail techniques.
- Strong customer service skills, with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler's and Responsible Beverage Service certifications required (or willing to obtain).
