Patent/Intellectual Property Attorney

A renowned firm based out in Tucson, AZ is looking for a Patent/Intellectual Property Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience and must be registered with the USPTO, holding a PhD in Molecular Biology or a related field.

The candidate must possess a broad understanding of science, articulate legal strategies, and demonstrate effective writing and communication skills. They should have superior judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Global patent prosecution and portfolio management
• Freedom to operate
• Licensing and other technology transactions
• IP due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Full-time position
• Pay range: $200,000 - $250,000 plus profit sharing and bonus opportunities (DOE)
• Billable hours: 1820 hours per year
