We are seeking a talented Director of Supply Chain to join our team and drive our supply chain operations to the next level.

The Director of Supply Chain will lead and oversee all aspects of our supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, and distribution of finished goods. In this critical role, you will also manage the Business Services Team, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management for our key accounts. A core responsibility of this role will be leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, engaging with site leaders and executive management to align supply chain activities with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership & Team Development :
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Chain and Business Services teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
    • Set performance targets and drive continuous improvement across the teams.
  • Strategic Supply Chain Management :
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and negotiate favorable contracts.
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Process :
    • Lead the S&OP process, aligning supply chain activities with business objectives and engaging with site leaders and executive management.
    • Engage with site leaders and executive management to gather input, align priorities, and ensure effective coordination.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
    • Oversee the Business Services Team’s management of key account relationships.
    • Oversee key account management and act as the escalation point for production and supply chain-related issues.
  • Inventory & Procurement :
    • Develop inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials.

Qualifications :

  • Education & Experience :
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or role-related discipline.
    • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain management in the medical device/contract manufacturing industry.
    • Strong expertise in supply chain management and customer relationship management.
    • Proven leadership experience managing multi-site teams.
  • Skills :
    • Strong expertise in supply chain management, with proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics.
    • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of successful customer relationship management.
    • Ability to lead and drive the S&OP process, engaging cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Certifications :
    • PMP, CSCP, CPIM, or similar certifications are a plus.
