Marvin's - Outdoor Garden Associate

Job Responsibilities

1. Providing expert advice and assistance to customers on all aspects of gardening and outdoor living. This includes recommending the right plants and gardening tools for specific projects and providing information on outdoor living products such as patio furniture and grills.
2. Maintaining the appearance and organization of the garden and outdoor living department. This includes stocking shelves, setting up displays, and keeping the department clean and organized.
3. Operating point-of-sale equipment and processing customer transactions. This includes ringing up sales, handling returns and exchanges, and answering customer billing and payment questions.
4. Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and helping them find the needed products.
5. Participating in training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends in gardening and outdoor living.
6. Assisting in maintaining and ordering inventory.
7. Assisting with the loading and unloading of merchandise and maintaining the stockroom.
8. Following and adhering to safety procedures and protocols at all times.
