We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to fill this role. The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will support our Guest Experience and Product Development (GEPD) team assisting the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition GEPD in ensuring that Holland America Line (HAL) and Seabourn (SBN) ship positions are staffed with competent and qualified team members. This role directly supports the recruitment targets and objectives, ensuring all recruitment offices and recruiting partners are meeting those targets and objectives. While performing these tasks the TA Specialist ensures that the Talent Acquisition process is based on equity, inclusion, and the power of diversity. The incumbent will be able to identify the skill, aptitude, and experience to match with the candidate profile of the brand to make informed recommendations to the hiring manager.

Responsibilities
- Identify qualified applicants, conduct screening interviews, administer tests, evaluate applicant qualifications, and check references, based on HAL/SBN hiring matrix process flow, as per assigned departments.
- Extend job offers to candidates explaining full job description, terms of assignment, pay rate, and benefits.
- Keep up to date with job descriptions & open positions on Applicant Tracking System for assigned departments and provide required input when needed based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Deliver on effective recruiting activity aligning with HAL/SBN recruitment strategy to ensure the availability of qualified applicants to meet current and anticipated needs as established in hiring targets projection.
- Promote key roles based on competencies and skills in global source markets, aligned with GEPD recommendations.
- Liaison with key stakeholders as per guidance of Senior Manager Talent Acquisition on all activities relating to candidate journey and Talent acquisition processes.
- Guide the applicant through the Onboarding Journey A-Z whilst keeping up to date with global changes regarding travelling, ensuring travel readiness is within KPIs established.
- Maintain close relationships with respective hiring managers and fleet managers.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, which are in line with the Talent Acquisition department needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field. International equivalent suffices, or equivalent work experience.
- Multi-lingual ability a plus.
- 3 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition.
- Seagoing experience preferred or experience in large International 5* Hotel operations or similar hospitality organizations suffices.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines while working in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of open positions and screen candidates in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong business partner relationships with operating departments, global talent partners, and sourcing markets.
- A genuine interest in working with all levels of applicants.
- The ability to be flexible, decisive, and quick-thinking.
- The ability to handle constantly changing priorities.

- Base Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience uniquely.
