We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team who will be responsible for providing Human Resources (HR) support and guidance to employees and managers on a range of HR issues, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits. Position is hybrid.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective onboarding and training programs for new hires.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
  3. Serve as point of contact for inquiries and requests related to HR matters with employees, managers, and external parties—treating all inquiries with respect and confidentiality and striving to provide timely, accurate information with excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  4. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, e.g., conducting investigations and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  5. Assist with developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, e.g., creating and maintaining job descriptions, and coaching managers through the process.
  6. Conduct exit interviews to understand employee reasons for leaving, satisfaction with role, relationships with coworkers and managers, and suggestions for how we can improve.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  2. 5+ years of HR generalist experience
  3. Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, including multi-state laws and regulations
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, Ceridian experience preferred.
