SALES MANAGER
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual join the Sales Team as Sales Manager for Firmdale Hotels North America.
Representing 11 hotels across London and New York, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK & USA's most inspiring, privately owned luxury hotel brands.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Representation of three New York properties as well as eight London hotels
  • Main focus targeted toward the Whitby Hotel and Warren Street Hotel via localized corporate accounts
  • To manage duties as requested by the VP of Sales and Director of Sales, North America
  • Research projects as appropriate such as new local area leads
  • Conduct negotiations for preferred rates, both direct and via RFP process
  • Track and monitor room night & event production for key hotel accounts
  • Internal Meetings - attend and contribute as appropriate.
  • Responsible for market split as directed by VP of Sales
  • Build and maintain client database, targeting new business from allocated key market segments
  • Undertake client office visits and on-site hotel inspections
  • Contribute to innovative sales plans to increase business
  • Work with London Sales counterparts to develop industries and accounts
  • Sales trips as required
  • Completing daily administrative duties as required
  • Perform in line of Firmdale standards, policies and procedures whilst providing exceptional service
Requirements:
  • Sales experience from within the hotel industry.
  • Have a strong understanding and interest in building a career in Sales.
  • Able to multi-task and manage a varied work-load
  • Ability to communicate confidently internally with team members and externally with clients
  • Energetic and responsive. One must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • A professional outlook, working proactively and with initiative.
  • Highly organised and efficient.
  • Dependable and adaptable with a positive 'can do' attitude and drive to succeed.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Opera and Salesforce.
  • A positive brand ambassador.
