SpiderLabs is Trustwave’s elite security team focused on digital forensics, incident response, penetration testing, application security, and threat intelligence.
This position is for a Senior Digital Forensics Incident Response Analyst role on our DFIR team. Your primary role will be helping customers prepare for, respond to, and investigate cybersecurity breaches, and you will need to be prepared to work with both small and large organizations of varying levels of technical maturity. The team’s work includes cyber breach investigations, and proactive services, including tabletop exercises, incident response training, incident response plan organizational maturity reviews, and leaked data exposure assessments.

The ideal applicant will:
- Have several years of experience in digital forensics and/or incident response
- Have experience with investigating compromises involving large enterprise environments
- Have a good understanding of different platforms and technologies with experience with using forensic tools, acquiring and analyzing forensic artifacts, detecting breaches and resultant breach effects, and preserving and maintaining data integrity.
- Strong awareness of current cyber threats, forensic challenges, and industry best practices.
- Have the ability to inspire and mentor junior team members based in different global regions
- Subject-matter expert who can communicate technical concepts to all levels.
- Work well independently, ensuring client deliverables are of a high standard.
- Takes ownership of engagements, all the while demonstrating a strong commercial awareness
- Demonstrate strong report writing and verbal skills.
- Be prepared to work some weekends when 'on-call'.
- Contributions to the DFIR community include blog posts, conference presentations, and tool development.
- Any penetration testing, threat intelligence, network or system administration, or IT audit experience.
- Industry certifications.
Education
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
