Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently searching for a Fire Protection Designer for our Orlando, FL office to work in a flexible role that includes engineering, design, and specification of fire protection systems for our Hospitality-Gaming, Entertainment and Science & Technology market sectors.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Revit and CAD proficient with fire protection drawings
  • Develop sections & riser diagrams and elevations of complex equipment and piping areas
  • Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
  • Efficiently research codes, references, standards to assist engineers.
  • Generate handwritten calculations and other hand done engineering task assignments.
What your experience looks like
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Fluent in engineering problem solving.
  • 0-2 years of experience with Fire Protection Design and Sprinklers
  • Can communicate ideas and concepts well.
  • Comfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Is a self-starter and results oriented.
  • Organized on a daily basis.
  • Personable in working with colleagues.
