Job Title: Restaurant Server
Salary: $11.40 + TIPS
Status: Full Time and Part Time
Located in beautiful Black Hawk, CO, the Monarch Resort Spa seeks a passionate 24/7 Restaurant Server to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team.
Responsibilities
- Passionate about food and service, with a friendly, outgoing demeanor and experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Greet guests warmly, direct them to their tables, take and enter beverage orders promptly.
- Memorize and recommend food and beverage items, provide superior service by refilling drinks and checking on guests.
- Address and escalate guest concerns, follow safety and alcohol awareness procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, clear and set tables, complete side work, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Excellent guest service and communication skills, with the ability to speak and write English clearly.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred knowledge of food service regulations; capable of standing, bending, stooping, and using hands throughout the shift.
- Physical ability to push and pull up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 45 lbs) and work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old, pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
