Data Entry Specialist NYC (HRIS Support)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Data Entry Specialist to join the HRIS team of a reputable nonprofit organization based in New York City.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter and update data into the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Review and verify data for consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Assist with generating reports and providing administrative support to the HR team.
  • Collaborate with the HR and IT departments to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Qualifications:
  • High attention to detail and excellent data entry skills.
  • Experience with HRIS or similar database systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Prior experience in data entry, preferably within an HR or nonprofit environment, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Type: Temporary/Contract
Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM EST
