Join Nextracker's Dynamic Team! This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Director of Software Engineering.
Here Is a Glimpse Of What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug and optimize code for resource-constrained environments.
- Manage system configurations, security, and performance optimizations.
- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure data security and integrity in all database-related tasks.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for software components.
- Identify and address software defects and performance issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, code comments, and user guides.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
Here Is Some Of What You’ll Need (required)
- GoLang Programming Language and iOT
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Developer, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java or C/C++, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, etc.).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and database management.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Experience in renewables
- Master's degree in Computer Science
- Working experience with Linux
- Experience with embedded software development is highly desirable.

Annual Salary Applicable to California: $164,000 to $171,000.
