Must Haves:
•Understanding of manufacturing processes, Quality control principles, and statistical methods. Examples of these can include Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, etc.
•Communication and Interpersonal Skills. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams within the organization, including production, engineering, and supply chain. The ability to convey quality objectives, providing training on quality processes, and facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
•Problem solving skills. Must be adept at identifying and addressing quality issues in a proactive and systematic manner. This includes the ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to prevent defects and non-conformances.
•Attention to detail and reliability. The candidate should be detail-oriented and committed to upholding high standards. Should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability as they will be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality standards.
Education: College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is preferred.
