Responsibilities
  • Initiate and directly execute business development events
  • Create and launch impactful lead generation campaigns
  • Forecast value generated by core repeatable motions
  • Proactively manage and leverage partnerships to hunt new customers and penetrate into new territories
  • Structure and systematically align with priority geographies and verticals, helping to define Exotec's growth strategy
  • Keep key account contacts and partners updated and engaged via LinkedIn and other channels
  • Qualify and prioritize incoming leads based on their value to Exotec
  • Ensure proper handover of viable opportunities to Sales & Sales Engineering team, helping them define projects as needed
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide regular insights and support
  • Maintain clear and organized repeatable motions to help the Business Development function run efficiently

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, ideally within a B2B setting
  • Any exposure to the supply chain and/or industrial or warehouse automation industry would be a strong plus
  • Demonstrated competency in running lead generation campaigns and contributing to lead generating strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Tenacity – you are not afraid to initiate contact, and follow-up, with prospective clients – through multiple communication skills
  • Travel flexibility up to 50% (including some international)
