We currently have an immediate full-time opening for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to work in our ADO division.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable/Receivable position is responsible for completing a variety of accounts receivable and payable tasks to ensure accurate ADO monthly customer statements, including data entry, supplier payments, bank deposits, applying payments to customers, and month-end activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer and vendor calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries on merchandise, services, billing, and credit issues.
  • Data entry into E1 system for customer invoicing and vendor payments.
  • Perform cash application process, including deposits, credit cards, and balancing payments.
  • Complete month-end responsibilities, including reconciling data imported to vendor statements and sending out vendor statements.
  • Enter vendor payments and answer and resolve supplier inquiries.
  • Complete administrative duties as necessary.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Position requires a two- or four-year degree and a minimum of three years of related accounting work, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Proficient with Windows, Word & Excel along with excellent keyboarding and 10-key skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills along with strong written/oral communication.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adhere to schedules and timelines.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of duties.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills required.
