Job Purpose:
The Account Manager, Sr. drives new revenue thru the sale of the company’s products and services in assigned Strategic Product Verticals.
THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION. **30-50% Travel**
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Manage a base of existing accounts, establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers and account influencers for a specified territory as well as obtain new business within the set criteria size.
- Maintains a high level of product knowledge on the entire Securus offerings and providing detail account profiles
- Responsible selling the Securus book of products into the existing account base is essential.
- Contact prospective customers to determine their needs and identifying the appropriate services for each customer.
- Present the Securus “value proposition” to assigned customers and
- Assist customers in their purchasing efforts including RFP
- Coordination and validation of assigned RFP responses for
- Delivery of product demonstrations to
- Perform other duties as
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience to include:
- Quota carrying territory sales experience in the specified industries
- 3-5 years of managing quota carrying account management in the specified industries
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in related field
- Software sales or account management experience into the public safety market
- Sales experience in the inmate calling or public safety market
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
