We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team in Minot, ND.
Job Summary:
As an Optometrist at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services, including comprehensive eye examinations, vision therapy, and the diagnosis and management of eye diseases. You will work closely with patients to understand their vision needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and assess patients' visual acuity and overall eye health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapy as necessary.
- Provide patient education on proper eye care and the use of corrective lenses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in optometry through continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid optometry license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
