Associate Engineer

Seeking a junior level engineer for a direct hire CAD opportunity in St Louis

General Purpose of Position:

• To perform quoting CAD tasks to support factory operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(Production work)

• Create/modify production cutting tickets & CNC programs & drawing and then release the job jacket, including traveler and picklist, to the shop floor.
• Answer all questions and execute modifications from the shop floor.

(Quotation work)

• Create drawings, such as product drawing, for quotation purpose.
• Finalize pricing with quote tool and database.
• Create the finalized drawings for sign-off with plumbing & electrical spec drawings.
• Perform other duties as directed by Management.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Training &/or Experience:

• Minimum 3 years CAD/CAM experience.
• Design software experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD required.
• Preferred experience with Cabinet Vision.
• Basic communication skills (including English proficiency)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, Access, or another database).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
• Persistent/assertive skills to drive project results are required.
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
