Job Title: Facilities Engineer (J)
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support building operations and mechanical maintenance services for a multi-tenant government office complex in New York, NY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
The Facility Engineer shall have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) in Engineering Design or Construction and must be proficient in reviewing and commenting on Design Intent Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and some cost estimating experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for larger projects
- Manage and complement the on- site staff for the tasks identified as additional services which shall include any services related to operations, maintenance and repairs, construction, systems upgrades, system operation, or tenant services facilities within the scope of the Contract but, not covered within Basic Services
- Manage major and/or minor project and alteration services . The projects could be as simple as workspace alterations or creating bid specifications for one-time deferred maintenance issues for roofs, asphalt and concrete repair, plumbing, electrical and HVAC or as complex as full oversight and management of commissioning, architectural and engineering design services and implementation for complex construction projects. These projects could include everything from new construction and additions to comprehensive overhauls of older buildings, including museums and or buildings classified under the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
