Role Overview – Software Development/Execution Leader
Matilda Cloud is on the lookout for a seasoned Software Development/Execution Leader. This role is integral to our mission of delivering top-notch software solutions and driving the technical vision of the company. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, hands-on coding experience, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the software development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Define and implement development methodologies, ensuring the efficient execution of projects.
- Work closely with Product Managers to align software development with the company’s strategic goals and customer needs.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among the development team and other departments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus within the team.
- Oversee the architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our products.
- Track and manage key performance indicators to drive team performance and meet delivery timelines.
- Mentor and develop team members, supporting their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management.
- Experience collaborating with product management to define and prioritize project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience in overseeing architectural decisions and ensuring product quality.
- Strong analytical skills to track and manage performance metrics.
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in public cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with enterprise applications hosted in data centers and the public cloud.
